Why I Love Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is my personal favorite method for getting rid of unsightly hair. Shaving and waxing are cheaper and more home friendly, but they both suffer from some drawbacks that I feel professional laser hair removal doesn’t have. First of all, when you shave quickly you leave behind stubble. Depending on how thick your hairs are, that stubble may range from being only slightly noticeable, to being like a dark shadow and scatching your boyfriends checks ;) . What’s worse, it grow back immediately and im just to busy. While it’s actually a myth that shaving causes hair to grow back thicker and faster, it will certainly start growing back the moment you shave it and i have a conspiracy theory that shaving creams contain hair growth agents but thats another story. Waxing gets rid of hair for a longer period of time, and leaves behind little or no stubble. However waxing is generally much more time intensive than shaving,   and unless you do it yourself it is much more expensive. Even the do it yourself kits will run you more than a razor and some shaving cream. To boot, waxing is pretty unpleasant! Laser hair removal, on the other hand, is much less painful and certainly a much more permanent solution. Lasers can remove unwanted hairs for periods of five to ten years, possibly longer. The only real down side to laser hair removal is that it’s the most expensive method, and therefore generally not feasible for large areas of our body. Not only is laser hair removal an excellent way to get rid of unwanted hair in a nearly permanent fashion, it is a fun thing to do on a first date. I’m always looking for new and interesting ideas on how to have a good time on a first date, and then one day it just dawned on me that getting unwanted, unsightly hairs burned off of your body by way of very small lasers before a date is a great way to get some "special attention"  . I tried it for the first time three years ago with a lovely (and very hairy) guy named Frank,  Okay, so maybe that’s  Laser hair removal may not have been the reason we meet but it sure help me convince him to clean up a little himself and turned into a fun thing to do and experience together. If you have a bit of a ‘bush around the eyes’ like I did, get it zapped off and in no time at all it’ll look like your the best groomed girl in town. Or, if you are a woman that suffers from especially dark facial hair, laser hair removal maybe your answer to regain that confidence in your look.What ever you decide lasers have benifits and cons so be sure to think it over and check if your skin type suits the procedure or not.
